Social connectedness grants for local governments

Can you imagine using $15,000 to support social connectedness?

[Plan H]1, a program of <a href=”>BC Healthy Communities, is seeking applications for grants up to $15,000 to increase social connection in communities across the province.

Regional Districts, Municipalities, First Nations Bands, First Nations Tribal Councils, and Métis Chartered Communities are eligible to directly apply for funding through this stream, but partnerships across sectors are key.

If you are a one of the eligible applicants from local government, please consider applying by May 30 to build one of the critical assets which we know directly support child well-being in the middle years.

If you work in the school system, for your local health authority, or as part of a community non-profit or volunteer society and you want to help — contact your local government today and share this opportunity!
